Meetups
Indi frequently meets up with local groups and book clubs to chat about the problem space, about shifting focus to a person’s purpose, about listening deeply, thinking styles, and opportunity maps. She often does these engagements for free, as a way to contribute to community and help support both new and experienced members of the field. (A little thank you of really good chocolate bars is appreciated, and Indi will provide a few helpful hand outs in return.)
These engagements are only chats, not presentations. These are only for non-company-related groups. Ask Indi if she is available for your meetup.
Podcasts & Shows
Indi is happy to be a guest on your podcast or other kind of show. She does these guest appearances for free, as long as your show is not collecting subscriptions or other money from the audience. (Note: If your podcast or show is aimed at gaining attention for your particular organization in order to sell your services, Indi only sometimes agrees to be a guest. Let’s see if we’re a good match.)
The most successful podcast engagements are when you select a specific part of her work to explore. Trying to explore everything that Indi does in one appearance results in a very complicated and long show, possibly tedious for your audience.
These engagements are chats or interviews for podcasts and shows. Ask Indi if she is available for your podcast or show.

Conferences
Public conferences and internal organization-only conferences have invited Indi to speak, deliver galvanizing keynote presentations, participate in panel discussions, and collect ideas in thought-provoking wrap-up talks. Indi’s talks invite audiences to move toward a more meaningful future. She presents talks for a fee, usually ranging from $1000 to $3000 and up. The fee is negotiated based on your organization’s financial status in the world, the pricing tiers you provide for public attendees, and the size and type of audience.
The presentations and panel discussions can include introductions to these concepts:
- Mindset shift to supporting people in their myriad approaches to a purpose
- Inclusivity as defined by helping more people address their purpose their way
- History of how we found ourselves bound by speedy methodologies
- Four types of harm we unintentionally cause to people
- Tracking movement of our solutions out of harm and into support, by thinking style and mental model diagram
- Gap analysis that grids out opportunities for your organization, and allows stakeholders to choose clear priorities in a line-up that will continue as long as your organization is sustainable
- An emergent approach to research that reveals patterns in the complexity of human interior cognition as they address their purpose
- Different recruiting and interviewing than the usual, allowing for rich listening sessions
These engagements are typically 45 or 55-minute presentations, with time for a short Q&A period after. For panel situations, she has presented a few diagrams to help explain some concepts she brings up. Anything is possible, so if you have creative ideas for your conference, please reach out.
Workshops: Indi used to run workshops at conferences in addition to presenting, but now that her courses are available in full-depth, these short workshops don’t quite meet her requirements for imparting helpful knowledge to her peers.

Team Events
Your team wants inspiration, confidence, and human connection with their work. Indi can help you provide this. She can lead discussion and engagement for an hour, or she can give a tired team a chance to sit back and absorb some of the concepts listed under conferences, above.
The fee is $500 to $3000 for the hour, negotiated based on your organization’s financial status in the world and the number of people expected to attend. Indi has agreed to a lower fee if the financial status is precarious, and the team is particularly small. Please let Indi know about your team, their appetite for knowledge, and how they want to engage.
Learning Organizations
Happily, there are lots of organizations helping to train people in the field of product strategy, research, and design. If you represent one of these learning organizations, and you are looking for experts to teach a class within your offering, Indi is glad to find out more. Many kinds of arrangements have been worked out in order to pay Indi. Let’s chat.
Indi has done lectures and classes for AusEchos, Interaction Design Foundation, Apex, Design Management Institute, General Assembly, UIE (now called Center Centre), Society for Technical Communications, University of Boulder, California College of Arts, Stanford, Haas School of Business at Berkeley, etc.
